Our third annual New Hope Creek Cooperative will be Monday September 16th. If members in the NW Missouri area might be interested in learning more about establishing a landowner deer/habitat coop, Cole Gander (NDA Deer Outreach Specialist) and Nate Mechlin (MDC Private Lands Conservationist) will both be present. Let me know if you are coming so we can ensure adequate food. The meal will be a chef-inspired slider recipe that is a crowd favorite.

A reminder for members near Kansas City or NW Missouri…Cole Gander (Deer Outreach Specialist) and Nate Mechlin (Private Land Conservationist) will be joining us. This year’s host is my “neighbor to the south” who harvested this nice buck in a transition point on his property as it goes into our Corn/Soy rotation. It warmed my heart that he was using an iron-sight 30/30.
