Nature finds a way!

I'm continually impressed with how nature finds a way to fill a niche. This tube is left over from some sort on construction and has been sticking up out of the ditch for quite some time. This spring I was driving by and noticed something on top of it. It has since turned into a full bore tree growing out of it. The tube probably stands 8-9ft high, this tree has probably been growing in there for a long time reaching for sunlight.

Kind on neat the stuff we find if you keep your eyes open.

They must have some freaky tall deer to run tubes like that. Be a good choice for one of those columnar apple trees?
