I have a Ford 601 (series) 641 (model), which means 4 speed tranny and PTO. I love it. It does all I ever ask it to do. I was kinda looking for an 8N, but I came across the 641 with bush hog for the same $$ as most 8Ns seemed to be selling for so I jumped on it. Not one regret buying it. No select-o-speed, so I have no experience with that.
