Mother's Day Bluebird Box Video

Five years ago, just after my wife and I moved to the property where we now live, my mother gave me four bluebird boxes for our new place.

Spaced them far enough apart to keep the different nesting pairs happy, and after figuring out I had to put baffles on them to keep the rat snakes at bay we've since averaged over 30 to 40 bluebird chicks a year as the boxes get used several times a season.

So this year leading up to Mother's Day I strapped a camera to my fence near one of the boxes and put together this video for my Mom to enjoy.

Guessing a few of you may enjoy as well.

My wife is all about bluebirds too. She had me put boxes up at both places, they are fun to watch.

I have a few I need to put up. I have wood duck boxes but I love watching the blue birds too.
