Minnesota is a national embarrassment.

Dude shouldn’t have been been messing around out there but far as I can see he did nothing to justify getting shot.

Guy shouldn't have been there and he wouldn't have put himself in a place to get shot.

I have zero sorrow for any of these people at this point. Trump should call it an insurrection and lock everyone up with little or no evidence just like the previous admin did to the J6 protestors.

Where's the fighting part? He's trying to block a woman and move her out of the way. Gets sprayed in the face, and turtles on the ground as he gets it from every angle before
A cop was going after someone and this guy stepped between them. Then the cops went after both people and this guy resisted. cops likely yelled gun, a cop saw movement that made him fear for his life and he shot. It happened in a matter of seconds and watching replays in slow motion is totally different.

Again, if he just let the cops do their job he would be alive right now. It is another sad story, but totally preventable.

That’s the problem. It’s such a high stress environment with deadly consequences. Bummer for this guy I guess but in no way is ice to blame. They are doing a duty protected and required by the constitution in upholding our law and these people are willfully breaking the law and pressing to the point of violence. Accidents can happen in that scenario and in my head and I hope the legal systems, that’s understandable

I’m all for conceal & carry, although I do not carry personally… I would say it’s a very bad idea to be anywhere near an ICE officer of police officer with a loaded handgun?

Especially in the street near an ICE patrol?

I’m not gonna pretend to be all tore up!
Bummer means I’m not celebrating it but I’m not crying about it…it’s scientific.

I mean, the argument, “He shouldn’t have been there” is universal. Anyone who gets killed wouldn’t have if they “wouldn’t have been there.” The question is was he breaking the law? I don’t know and honestly don’t care, but that is the real question.

I would unequivocally say yes! He got in the middle of agents performing their duty. The middle of the streets isn’t the time or place to decide to play vigilante street justice warrior…especially while toting. It’s like snake handling church. Don’t be shocked when you get bit. If he truly believed the person being detained deserved to be free, be a witness at their trial, start a go fund me, make an air brushed t shirt in their honor, get on reddit and say some things and get a bunch of likes. Don’t try to act like a badass and play a losing game. What did he really think the end game would be. The agents just say “F it you win, we can’t possibly outcompete your overwhelming resistance, both of y’all go free”.

I gotta laugh and step away. Might get kicked from the site if I say anymore. The argument goes both ways if “they shouldn’t have been there” is really the argument. And again, I really don’t care who got smoked. They weren’t a factor in my life.

All good I get it. Tons of opinions on this. And like you none of this a factor in my day to day.

Not to nitpick, but the question here is actually "did the cop who shot him break the law.". From the looks of things, probably not. You don't have to break the law to get shot by a cop. If the cop has a reasonable fear of death or serious bodily harm, he can respond with deadly force. The guy who got shot tangled with the police while carrying a gun. That was really stupid. Did the cops have reasonable grounds for deadly force in this case? Probably. It was tangling with the cops AND carrying a gun that got him killed. He'd probably be alive if he wasn't carrying a gun, even after interfering with the police as he did.

I don't like the circumstances under which this went down. The guy killed may have thought he could quell what he perceived as wrong happening....and then things escalated very quickly. In a scuffle like this....everyone is on high alert.....and in an instant it can turn deadly. That is why you should not enter into a fray like this.....where you have no business. Still.....the dead guys intents may have been sound....at least to him. Sad outcome.....all of these events. Try to see the ICE view.....they just want to do their job and go home alive.

He was there to be dick to federal law enforcement doing its job and should have decided against that idea. None of those idiots should be out there and I personally won't shed a tear for any of them that get whacked.

My only complaint on this topic is that I think Trump and Homan went about it all wrong. Heck with the worst of the worst. Deport them all Big or Small.

I wouldn’t believe anything in this day and age posted on the internet. Too many people have software to make anything look like anything. Who posted these pictures?

I'll go out on a limb here and say it. The dude that got himself shot was a patsy. I don't think anyone can still be that dumb. Even the dumbest somoli gang children know to run when they see cops or hear gunshots.

But if you're drugged out of your mind on LSD and antidepressants, i'm sure a spook handler could set you up to take a bullet for the cause. They need to plan this shit better though. If you're trying to have a national distraction to hide the build up to WW3, the global genocide, and purposeful collapse of nations and economies, you don't do it when it's too damn cold to burn a major city to the ground with unemployed transgenders and FBI recruits.

You do that shit when the weather is nicer.
