Made it to the farm today

I just planted some beans today. I need to find more time in my life ...LOL Luckily one local small dealer still had some in stock. All the small guys have to send their unsold seed back to the main supplier (Asgro, DeKalb, etc) by a certain date I guess. My usual place had already sent their's back and the place I bought seed from today said there remainder was going back this Friday. I feel like I got a good deal at $60/ a bag for a GMO hybrid, so maybe it pays to wait.

I may actually plant some more at the end of next week. Hope my guy has them. Based on your post I should call tomorrow. I don’t need actual beans, I need greens. Sprayed some fields off and ran out of time and seed.

Same reason I plant them. The green is a far bigger attraction than the pods for me.

It's been a wet week at the farm. Got some mowing done and I need to spray tomorrow. Hopefully it's dry enough I won't make ruts.

Drilled corn with the Great Plains and I had a hunch it was a big light. Not worried about it since EHD wiped out the herd. And some of the openings are filling nicely with volunteer beans because there weren't many deer to eat them last winter....
