I started getting pics of this buck in Aug the last pic of him was on Oct 4th on Oct 5th I drove a swhacker through him at 30 yds at 10:30 am.. 136 Gross don't even care about net, my best GA bow huck ...

I am a little unconventional only been deer hunting 30+ years, one thing I have learned is go with your gut and be flexible...

I actually did not know I got a pic of the buck on the 4th till I pulled the cam a few days after I killed him..

When does the season open in GA?

Archery 2nd sat in Sept, rifle 2nd sat in Oct and runs through the end of Jan in metro counties, mid Jan in south GA and the 2nd of Jan in the northern part of the state but that date seems to move give or take a few days.. I normally bow hunt the whole season bow/ML and rifle..
