Last-minute shoppers - apple trees

I am excited that I got 5 Cox's Orange Pippin. Says they thrive in cool summers, I definitely have cool summers! Zone is iffy, some sites say 5 some 4. I am a 3.5-4.

I guess technically he said they would be fine in New York. There is a lot of NY below zone 5.

I was reading down the posts in this thread and was happy for you and liked the post. THEN I read your next post about flushing the $100 :eek:. Anyways best of luck with the trees. Heck of a price if some of them take.

Good luck with the Cox's. They're supposed to be one of the top 3 eating apples for flavor !! If cool climates are what they like......... you're IN !!!!! :cool:
