Just Dropped the Gate on Some Hogs

Good deal! What kind of trap are you using?

USDA Hog Trapper. I couldnt swing a trap like that. They come to your place and catch them free of charge. Bull Creek trap - made here in AR.

Thats alot of bacon

Do you get to keep the meat? That would fill the freezer!

USDA just makes sure they are dead when they leave. Dead hogs belong to the property owner. USDA does not recommend eating. I am overwhelmed with them. Killed 143 off 375 acres last year. My wife was a high school science teacher for 30 years - she knows what kind of diseases they can carry. We dont eat them.

Wow you have the market cornered on piggies. Good luck getting rid of them.

I know exactly what you mean...I ate some wild pork from the first one or two we killed...after that with all the damage and headaches they were causing they all started looking like giant rats to me. Who wants to eat vermin!

I would come pick up a half dozen if i was in the area. I really like wild pork. Probably makes great bait for yotes and bears too.

Yotes and buzzards make them disappear in a couple of days. Our bears dont seem to like dead hogs. Left near a creek - the gators will get them
