Itasca Greenhouse: Custom Order Interest?

I called up to Itasca not too long ago and asked about the story on the red osier dogwood shortage. If I remember right, the issue they are having is a seed shortage. I believe they will custom grow just about anything that isn't invasive, and is capable of being grown in a soil plug. Just curious. If he'd be willing to grow a thousand of another dogwood, would anyone be interested in helping use up a custom order? I believe the threshold for a custom order is 500.

The ROD are grown in the styro 6 which means there are 112 plugs per flat. I'd sure like to get another 2 or 3 flats to see if we can't help the rest get ahead of the browse.

We should have seed on some dogwood (I forget the variety, but they're white berries). If you want to come pick them sometime just say so.

I haven't been out where I know there's saplings lately, but I hunt a spot that seems to be pretty well stocked every year. I can confirm in a couple days.
