Irrigation check boxes

Building some irrigation boxes so we can use less tarps. And be able to change irrigation areas easier.

My wife is in with a lumber sales man, gets the treated wood for 10% on the dollar due to it being twisted.

Can you explain those like I'm stupid? I'm not familiar with an irrigation check box.

I’m hopeful to install them today. Then when/ if we are getting water delivery I will show them in action.

Basically they are in the irrigation ditch, by adding boards they raise the water level behind them. The ditches have “ cuts” in them so when the water rises the ditch leaks. The leaking water flood irrigates the land.

U can set the ditch level without totally occluding it.

I use long lag bolts and cement to anchor.

The orange tarp is what they are replacing.
