As much work as we put into fruit trees - if I saw someone cutting one down, they might wake up missing.
Thats what I always told by daughters boyfriends 3 pt augers are for. Ground seeking radars don't even work then.My SIL is a farmer and he always teases me that after I'm gone they will bulldoze the trees down and I go right back about the bolt of lightening that will come down and strike his ass dead.Good thing my daughters have help plant alot of those trees.

Pilfering maggots know no boundaries. I'd be throwing out some loads of #6 shot into those olive groves. Then see who turns up at the hospital to have lead removed from their carcasses. Cops at the hospital waiting to arrest.
