How much rain do you need to work in urea?

What is the minimum you need to actually work in Urea?

Agreed, 1/2" of good steady rain. A half inch in 10 minutes would likely cause it to run-off and wash most of it into the lowest spots only, especially if it was very dry before hand.

Although not ideal, and I'm sure there was some loss, I've had as little as .25" in the late afternoon or evening after spreading urea give a noticeable "spike" to my sand plots.

I think as long as any residue is washed off the plants and the white urea pellets are dissolved you get some benefit. How much is up for debate.
