Help to ID this grass?

It's in Knox county, Ohio. The deer were digging through snow to eat it on their way to and from a corn feeder. The ground is gravely and poor quality, and it floods every spring.




I'm not good at identifying grasses at all. Unfortunately I didn't have access to a plant ID app at the time.

Do you think they really like it, or is it just the only thing still green in January?

I see deer digging for that here too, though they're having a hard time getting to it now with how deep our snow is.
