Healthy rye this time of year.

ITs hard for me to gauge if my rye is doing well this time of year. I usually don't give it a good spring or summer at home. Deer stay in it in, the mall game is in there all the time

The lawn is looking better right now. Just question whether I put enough seed in there. Usually 80-100lbs. This year I bought a tow behind disc for the ATV and got it into the soil.

80 to 100 lbs should be good as long as the disk didn’t get it to deep. I planted my yard this fall. New septic system put in too late for regular grass to grow so I used rye. It’s thin but better than mud.

Heres a few pics. I plant rye where my solar pool heater. Works pretty good.

I am with Bill, looks fine for this time of year.
