The stuff underground was put there before we started dumping all of the nonsense in the ocean...

Bingo. I’m not only pointing at farming either. Lots of crap has gone down the drains and toilets and sewers too. Any town that’s pulling water from a river that’s also the discharge from every other town upstream is on all of their drugs. So if it’s a town full of white women, you’re all on birth control, estrogen, antidepressants, and Benzos.

You guys giving up on all seafood too?

Seafood doesn’t come from the sea. It comes from farms in Iowa, India, and South Korea.

Good thing Red Lobster is still on my boycott list!

As a mellow aging 70 yr old that has stopped all the craziness of endurance sports, here is what my focus tends to be. Just like my approach to wildlife wife and I have an intense focus on nutrition. Both have studied it most of our lives. I grow a giant organic garden in deep rich no till nutrient dense soil year round [ gotta love the south!} that supplies fresh veggies of some sort practically every day. We have a fruit orchard growing everything that grows n the south. Bazillion blueberry bushes. We grow our own laying hens, and broilers all on open pasture fed organic meal . We raise our own organic grass fed beef. Wife has a large herb garden for both food and medicine. We rarely eat out as I believe it is impossible to be healthy eating at restaurant . At least very challenging. DOnt eat a lot of processed food. Simply focus on whole chemical free food that looks like something you can identify.

We have an infra red sauna used regularly. I do a cold plunge daily. We both do Wim Hoff breath work daily though I frequently do other forms of breath work at other times of day including a breath work routine I do on a rebounder. Great way to start the day. Wife is a certified yoga instructor as well as certified energy medicine practitioner . I do burpees every day but Sunday. I tend to get lazy during hunting season but starting about now, back to the gym for light weights, rowing machine and we plan to swim couple times a week.

I could blab on but hopefully the picture is clear. Such is the life for an old retired hippie living on social security and medicare.

No cardio here, hate for an innocent bystander to hurt themselves laughing. I mostly weight train and walk, heavy on the walking. Pretty much a carnivor diet, all the wild game and fish i can get, plus eggs almost daily. The best vitamin i have tried is Nugenix testosterone multivitamin, a daily vitamin geared toward test production. A couple I tried that I wasnt impressed with, Nugenix Ultra and GNC Mega Men 50 Plus, no stomach issues just not impressed.

Mud runs can be another great way to provide accountability to stay in shape. These events are brutal if not prepared, and this is the best one for obstacles I've been to yet.

Never washing my hands unless they are visibly dirty is the best thing I do for my health. Exposed to lots of germs any my immune system seems to love it because I seldom get sick. Maybe 1 time a year. Haven’t had as much as a sniffle this winter yet.

My wife teaches a 4 th grade class with 25 kids in her room so she also brings plenty of stuff home to keep our immune system working out and healthy.

I understand that. I have 2 kids in daycare and they love to feed me their half-eaten food. Pretty sure this fall I have had COVID twice, the flu once, RSV more times than I can count and I have barely had a sniffle. 😂

Loved that race! Pegatron was the obstacle that kicked my butt!!!
Smooth Criminal gave me the deepest cut I've gotten in a race.

Used to do the Hard Charge before they went bankrupt. It was the first obstacle race my kids did.

Lol, are you talking about the short one? If so yes! (but everyone catches shit for at least something)
The team race were all kids I had coached. Lots of fun with those guys!

One thing you guys should check out is a ZMA supplement. It helps with sleep. Pretty basic mix of zinc, magnesium and B6 to take before bed. It came out of Balco Labs a number of years back. Balco was the lab that created "the cream" and "the clear" for Barry Bonds. Plenty of research that shows magnesium helps with sleep.

Beast mode!

Start light, and then just add five pounds a workout. It’s only 5 pounds. Your bones will get denser. Your ligaments and tendons will get stronger. And yeah your muscles will get bigger. You will be stronger overall and harder to kill.

What are some tips to avoid knee pain while squatting?

Try the low bar back squat, it loads the hips more than the knees like the traditional high bar or front squat. It feels really unnatural at first, but when you get it, it really feels good on the knees.

Ok thanks. I'll have to figure out how to modify that with dumbbells. Don't have that equipment or a gym membership. Don't really need the Rick Valente legs. Kiana Tom would suffice.

You can goblet squat with a dumbbell down to a bench or a chair bending over and using primarily your hips. I did that for a few months until it was too easy and I decided to invest in the home gym. I love my platform, power rack and barbells. I can’t think of a better way to spend 2 grand.
