Miss having a high-ball with my gramp and hearing stories about WWII. There's not many WWII vets around any more. His wife, my grandmother, was also a WWII vet...WAVES. Her brothers ...my great-uncles...were also vets...B-29 navigator and a Korean war infantry vet. Being a vet is not just something I am...pretty sure it was my destiny.
