Habitat-Talk’s June 2019 Trail Cam Photo Contest.

Bueller usually runs these but he’s been really busy with life the last few months so I’m going to start it off.
I just copy and pasted his format for ease.
  1. Photos submitted for the contest must have been taken by a trail camera during the current month or the month prior. Example= To be eligible for the March 2019 contest, the photo must have been taken with a trail camera during February 2019 or March 2019.
  2. Photos must be submitted on or before the last day of the month for the contest to be eligible. Example= March 31st is the last day to enter a photo in the March contest.
  3. The winner is decided by the photo that receives the most "likes", counted on the 10th day after the end of the month. Example= Photo with the most "likes" on July 10th is the winner of the June contest. In the event of a tie the photo that was posted first will be deemed the winner.
  4. Members can submit up to 5 photos per contest (one photo per post), however no photo can be submitted into more than one contest.
  5. Members can "like" as many photos as they wish. (Participation is key to this working. Don't wait until the end of the month to vote for a winner, "like" photos as they are posted if you like them).
  6. Categories to be announced on a monthly basis.
  7. Any and all disputes or questionable entries will be reviewed by Admin and handled accordingly.
The category for this month is restricted to FAWNS. To qualify for the contest your pic must contain at least one fawn. There is a small prize available for the winner. Good Luck!

I snagged a few of Parker’s Habit Junkie stickers for prizes this year. If you bought one now you’ll have another.

This is a first for me! In my Rye... 100 yards from any water. Never seen an otter anywhere around here before! 38E1FD65-0E8F-4377-A8C6-9EFB57D8BEDA.jpeg

That is a great sight Swiffy! I have only seen a couple otters in my life, but never on the creek that runs through our camp. Love to have one show up on camera like this.

Not sure if this counts,
but I dont have any cams up at the moment.

Was walking around checking trees an heard some russling in the nannyberries. Kept going thinking I scared up some nesting ducks or something. About 10 steps further an this little guy bounds out of the grass. Got to about 5ft before he had the thought, hey your not my mom, and slowly started to trot off.

great pics I hope we haven't had any fawns yet we have been flooded for miles

I’m thinking it’s the same pair. Didn’t pick up on it before but I think Mom looks old enough to keep this one alive.
Lucky little one.

At least it’s not a fawn!!

I’d say turkey poult still alive. His head actually looks at the yote. Hey I’ve had duck do it to me, I doubt they thought much more of me than I do the yote. :)
