Guys,
I have about 6 Gorilla treestands and i need to replace the cables. The cables are 30 1/2" from end to end. Anyone have any ideas? Gorilla is out of business and the ones i find on ebay are either too short or too long. Thanks for any input.

Humm-don't they just crimp those ends on? I'm sure it isn't hard to fabricate them, someone will chime in....

Any possibility of using a chain instead?

I'd either crimp my own or use chain.

Yes they are crimped. Guess i'll figure out where i can get crimpers and the ends. I really don't want to use chain.

Fleet Farm, home depot, lowes, menards - they all have them.

Dumb question, what would you call the ends. Think i'm going with stainless too.

Eye/swage terminal. My biggest concern on making your own cables would be getting them pressed onto the cable.

I bought a set off ebay. I went and looked at my stands again and they have two sets of mounting holes on the base.

Thanks for everyones help and suggestion!
