Prof.Kent 5 year old buck + Sep 7, 2020 #6 Wooly Aphids, from pictures on the internet. But when I've seen it first hand it was on dying limbs so it could be fungus.

B Barndog56 5 year old buck + Sep 8, 2020 #8 Thanks guys. First wooly ones I've ever seen. I normally see the regular green aphids, on new growth. Those don't last very long before the predators end them. I'll check these again in a couple of days.
