Frost seeding clover

I checked out a field that I frost seeded 10 days ago...in between its been below average temps and we got 10" of snow over the weekend. Lo and behold, there were some clover seedlings starting to sprout...one tip I have found to find early seedlings is to look under small rocks (especially if the plot is on a hill), as I think the small clover seeds get washed under rocks and sprout there due to being protected. They may not amount to much, but if you move the rock they might! There was also some existing clover in this field from the fall (MRC, alsike and mammoth red) that is starting to green up as well.
