Food plot pictures

Thanks guys, we have been working to get this far for 5 years. I'm hoping to make the property that I just bought even half this nice. My buddy has invested in alot of lime and fertilizer and has taught me alot with the plots that I showed pics of. We have around 20 acres of plots here and I have already planted 1 plot on my place that is adjacent to this property. We are working on making another plot on my place that is going to be a great one to hunt over. Killed all the grass and weeds, spread lime, and tilled it up. It's ready for seed in August. I'll keep you guys posted.

These are pics of the progress of my newest plot. I planted oats, chicory, and clover. I'm hoping this will hold deer from moving to a neighboring property till after dark and I wouldn't mind killing a nice buck out of it either.

It's an hourglass shaped plot and I actually just hung a stand directly across the plot from that bush. I'm hoping you are right.

Here is a summer plot I'll soon be converting to a fall cover crop. Peas, beans, sunflower and sunn hemp. we mowed it down to 2 ft. today so we would be able to drill into it come mid sept.

Now: LC mix. Planted 8/11 and they've had like 5" of rain. Could be at risk of growing too tall but they're hitting it hard right now already. Bow season opens 9/17 here.

Put in a experimental mock scrape. Hopefully it's a little added bonus to the food plot, and they have been hammering the oats already.
