Finally a landowner again

I killed a nice 5x6 on public.Yes Kansas actually has a elk season in I believe all but 1 county and landowners can buy a tag online during season

I've got a friend who owns land with elk on it... guess which county his land is in? The one that's closed to hunting!

Good to hear you are a landowner again! That is one interesting concept on Elk tags? What happens if there is one tag left, and three hunters happen to get Elk on the same morning or afternoon?

My truck is 2wd so I spent an hour digging myself out of mud. Good thing I had shovel and atv ramps. Hope to buy a utv as soon as I get some work done on shed

My buddy drew a cow tag for Wichita MWR... pretty cool to have elk so close to DFW.

Elk season starts next Thursday. This guy isn't the biggest but he is super consistent and with only 5 tags for all of SE Oklahoma I'm not sure I will be picky.

I hunted elk 2 years ago in New Mexico. Walked more in that week than I have in years combined. Killed a bull 1 mile from road. Got back to camp at 6 am. I was beat.

It was a action packed two days of hunting but just couldn't make it happen. Saw about 15 cows/calves and 2 bulls including one in video. All 5 tags were fill in 48 hours. Also saw about 80 pigs and 6 does and 4 bucks.

That the season is over the elk act like I'm there best friend. Had a couple cows stick nose in blind.
