I have done rye and oats throw n mow n roll. However, I believe I have never done wheat throw n mow. A local seed n feed place opened up. Went back a 2nd time to get more cheap rye, but they only had whet left. So, I got 2 bags of wheat, a bag of oats, and a bag of rye for this year. All my little plots are about 1.25 acres or so.
Focusing on building a enclosed shack, rebuild the shooting traps, and apple trees ths year up there. So, If I can skip tilling, the better it'll be for me up there this year. Hopefully get my little ATV tow behind seeder welded up this summer.
Every plot and the snowmobile trail is getting weedy up there. Likely spray, then throw n cultiipack and maybe mow too after 2 days. Might experiemnt with just tire dragging one spot. If it works well, then I can add one or two more spots where implements are close to impossible to get in there.
