Diy hunting blind

Bszweda

5 year old buck +
I decided to build some hunting box blinds for the new property. My first one is almost done. Just need to router out two more windows, and I'm not happy with my roof but amazed I got it done. I bought a router after watching a YouTube video where the guy made it look easy. Mine for some reason kept choking out and used alot of batteries disappointed with it though maybe it's something I'm doing. The skill saw saved the day, I wasn't expecting to need it but it came in clutch. So for I spent a lot of time. Two really long days yesterday sunrise to sunset. Also a good amount of time the week before. I made a bunch of mistakes, but hopefully I won't make them again. Trying to install polycarbonate roofing in 25 to 40 mile per hour winds was interesting and I questioned my sanity as I was on my knees in a farm ditch trying to get a functional roof. Lifting a drop in roof over my head on a step ladder isn't recommended either.

That is a great looking blind. I hope the finished product will allow you to soon forget the grief experienced putting it together. Thanks for sharing both the experience and the pictures.

Where did you get the door and windows?

Orion hunting blinds sell diy windows I'm happy with them and glad I went with them, will see how they hold up. The door is from deerview it's the 20x60 . I ordered 4 doors and picked them up at the Iowa deer classic to save on shipping.
