cultipacker

When I was looking at used cultipackers earlier this year I thought about buying a 10 or 12 foot model and converting it into two 5 or 6 foot units. I decided it was just too much work and there is no guarantee that the conversions will sell any time soon.
I bought a used 8 foot cultipacker with 14 inch discs and am trimming it down to a 7 foot cultipacker. Redoing the wooden end brackets with angle iron metal ones and adding pillow block bearings. This way I will have two discs as spares should I ever break a single disc. This will cover the rear foot print of my Kubota and leave 6 inches to spare on each side. It should be easier to maneuver in some of my smaller food plots also.

Looks like our heavy one we have laying around. Wish I had a plot larger than an acre so that I could put it to work again.
