Cuddelink trail Cameras

BWHunter

Yearling... With promise
I purchased a total of 8 cuddelinks this year for my husband. 5 cameras, 2 repeaters, and 1 home unit.
We hunt in Barbour County, Al. The batteries don't last long at all; sometimes only 14 days. I have read where the cold weather can take the life out but really...it is going to get cold during hunting season. I have been disappointed. I know I can try the solar but was going to maybe do that next year. Any other suggestions to prolong batteries.
Thanks

If still powering with AA batteries, buy the D cell adapter and battery life will extend dramatically.

I have 2 "J" cameras running perpetually on the solar. They MUST be in full sun to do that, though.

I bought the D power boost; some are at a feeder so maybe too many images; may have to figure out how to send less?
