I did just get a completely white one when a deer was up close in previous pictures. And with the setting on ”close”. Indoors or too close I guess that's how they will be.

Is there a known issue with the new firmware that is locking up 'home' cameras? I had an old home base and a newer one that both started up fine transmitting pics etc, then locked. Super frustrating. Further, is there a new firmware version available that will fix this? Or is there a way to revert back to an older version that worked? I have all my cams deployed in the field, so would I be able to upload different firmware on just the home and leave the others running toe prior version?

Check the memory cards. I randomly get cameras that start having issues. It always resolves when I replace the memory card. Formatting the existing I one usually only works for a week or two.

New cards. This is an issue this year. I had one home unit run for a couple weeks. Had another one from my buddy that I deployed that worked for about 36 hours the first one was completely locked up. The 2nd is still out in the field 2 hrs away, but the same mysterious lock up appears to have happened. Report on app indicates cam hasn't updated for over 24 hrs

I second the SD card issues. I would say 90% of the issues I see with cuddebacks go back to SD cards. Even after doing a hard reformat on a pc the cards don't really work the same. Occasionally I can use them in gardepros but eventually the other cameras stop recognizing them. I've been working on this issue and have tried just about all types of formatting and card brands. The latest ones that seem to work well or the Onn brand from Walmart.

What firmware version are you currently on ? depending on which one you are on, i may be able to send you one that fix it

This one's on 9.2.0 as it's an older G home model. The new cams in the grid are on 3

running 11 cameras at home property with no cell plan. I pull the home card daily, but some pictures are 2 to 3 days behind.

what channel are you on? i would assume channel interference

channel 1 is used way to much by other users, even if someone was 1-2 miles from you on the same channel it can affect it.

Received the beta firmware release and was able to install in the field. This home unit had the same error as the the other one. Camera was locked with 'cell' flashing repeatedly. I pulled the batteries and reinstalled. Started up the unit and then installed the new firmware provided by John. The unit it functioning properly as of now. I'll update if there are any issues going forward. Hopefully the new firmware took care of the bug.

Foggy47, I just right click "copy" and paste into my thread. Took me about 4 seconds to post the picture below from this mornings group. I can do this with the app or on the website access.

Yeap…that is what i use. No mouse, just the touch pad on the MacBook Air. Sample process using the iPad.
