The 3358 ext battery booster will not show up on the daily report for the J and K cameras, only the G. They aren't programmed to recognize that. It's also the same voltage as the internals so I believe that may play a part in it.
this is correct, since the same voltage is in both it wont recognize it. the Dual power bank will do this and the 3358 will do so on the G series.

Anyone able to help me out with this?
set your camera for batch 30- that is the most efficient. You will still get a report each morning and also whatever images are on the card at the time. other than that you will only get emails when the que hits 30.

What if I only want to get images once per day? I need the cell booster for the cell camera to work. To keep my solar setup efficient at the cabin, I want to set it so that it would only be on for certain time of the days. For example I could set the timer for the cell booster to be on from 3:30 to 6:30 AM to get the batch and report in the morning. If I put the camera on 12 hrs would it send between 4-6PM and then in the morning or does it depend on when you arm the camera? Just trying to figure out how it works so I can set my timer accordingly.

the maximum amount of images the cell unit que can hold is 30 so it will send anytime it hits 30 and also sends the report once per day and the images that are in the que at that time. There isnt a way to change this, so unless you only get 30 or less images per day you will always get more than one email per day.

I don't have the camera in front of me, but I thought you there was a time setting on there cc rate for hourly. I know 12 hrs was on there, not sure about 24. Are you saying even if you set in on an hourly setting that it will send at 30 pics?

Thanks. I think I will set for 30 pics. I will have to mess around with the timer. I know at the very least that I could turn off the booster during the middle part of the day which would save a good bit of juice.

I just stumbled across this thread after doing some research on the Cuddelink system yesterday, I'm going back to page 1 and read this entire post, I'll probably have some questions after I read all 29 pages... :emoji_astonished:

One more question. How does the cell camera react if it can’t send the email due to signal. Will it send once it gets signal? Will it keep receiving pics?

As an example let’s say at noon it hits 30 pics in que. it doesn’t get signal until 6 pm. At 3pm it receives another 30 pics. After 6 would you receive 2 separate emails each containing 30 pics.

it will keep trying to send but it may get behind where it cant catch up depending on how many pictures are in que.

Thanks. I think I will set my que to 30 and then set my cell booster to be on from 6PM to 6AM. I may change the delay on the one camera that is on a food source a bit longer. By doing that I think it would very unlikely to try and send any pics when the booster off and at worst it would just be the one que. Will just have to try it and see how it works.

havent been able to find these anywhere Cuddeback Dual Power Bank 3563 does anyone know where they have them in stock

the initial, very small shipment of these just arrived , the main shipment is scheduled to arrive the end of this month. nobody has them yet.

Lol, no camera 7 was the dual cell prior to getting new high gain antennas for it. I was using it as a remote in the channel 6 network. Ya see I purchased the dual cell because my channel 6 network had the home/cell unit with the crappy antennas and Cuddeback was out of stock of the high antennas. So I thought it was a win win to buy the dual cell steal the antennas and just use it as a remote well it worked for a day then it lost network connection and locked the dual cell, so I had to order more high gain antennas. So after I got the antennas I took it back and just set it on it’s own network due to that fact it’s not designed to be used a remote.

I started picking up 2 cams from a neighbor somewhere last year when on channel 4. I observed them for a few days then changed all my channels. I was afraid if we were that close, some of mine may go to his. I know the area pretty well, and never did figure out how far they were coming from, but it had to be a little ways. My home cell is on the roof of my cabin, on the highest point around, so I receive pretty well...

Hi everyone. Just got my cuddelink system up and running almost a month ago. so far i love it. I have a question on the data plans though. When i go into the "cell management" page on the cuddelink webpage, it says i have used 17.47 MB of data so far with 1,018 images sent so far (per my daily report). I purchased the $20/month, 2000 images plan. From a # of images perspective, i could not have purchased the 750 images/month plan for $15 as i'm already over that amount. However, when reading further, it appears as though the actual threshold on what is and isn't allowed might be based on overall data usage.

In the details of the "modify billing" page at the bottom, it states that the 750 image plan is allotted 40 MB of usage and the 2000 Images plan 100MB of usage.

My question is this: could i change my plan to the "750" images plan and not go over as it appears i'm well under the data allotment allocated to this plan (17.47 MB of usage through 25 days). It seems highly unlikely I will go over the 40 MB allotment of the 750 image plan in just a few more days in the month.

Does anyone really know how this works?

I made it to page 120 before i had to start asking questions. Lots of great info in this thread.

It is based off of data used not images sent. The number of images is used as an estimate for the data allotted. I have gone over the 750 images and have been well under the 40MB of data and never have been billed extra.

i suggest to anyone running 5 cameras or less to start with he lowest plan and check the overage box, if you do go over you will get approx 1000 more images for $5. Unless you are running several cameras over feed or mineral its rare to use roe than that with only a few cameras. You can then adjust your plan accordingly. I run 10 on each property and its very rare for me to go over the Middle plan. I think it happened to me once all lat year on 3 different properties.

I created a separate email for my dual cell to send my pictures and daily reports. For some reason today I started getting duplicates in my main email.
