Chicken poop fertilizer for 40 yr old Norway spruce tree

How much chicken poop should be used to fertilize Norway spruce tree? Can too much be problematic?

As long as its not fresh any should be fine. Fresh chicken poop is very "hot" as chickens do not urinate, it all comes out together. Its great fertilizer especially if you get it with the wood chips if thats whats used for chicken litter.
