What a bruiser. Any history? What happens if he walks by at 20 yards on opener of your ML?

Not remembering any history before this year. I started getting pics of him just occasionally this year where my neighbors beans bordered my NWSGs - but it wasn't often. Now that the beans have yellowed, I'm getting him almost every night in my fall plots - 250 yards from the bean field. The other big deer are giving daylight pics nearly every day, but this one is only night pics so far. He runs totally by himself, and you never see him with another deer. I have to believe this deer could be 7 years old - but just a guess.

If we see him in the early ML, it's going to be hard not to take a buck that old - but just one shot might be all it takes to put the others nocturnal. It's a hard decision.

Look at the distance between his pedicles. That's a big head.

His neck and shoulders are right up there with the biggest I have seen around here. He would weigh heavy for sure.

great buck, somebody has to shoot the first one.I really would be surprised if you shoot him and get him out without any deer seeing you they will be back,he's a heck of a deer

Thanks. I think he would be hard to pass too.

That’s a giant

Decisions, decisions. That's a tough one.

But I'm with buckdeer. Drill him in the shoulders and drive the truck to him. Nobody's the wiser unless their standing there watching. And if that other beast is standing there, take a blood pressure pill. :)

He Reminds me of the wooly mammoth on our place. He was a ghost. I only laid eyes on him once when he was fat as tick and by then a small 6 point. I couldn't pull it off but I would have if the situation was right.

And I'm with you. He's over seven if he's a day old. That's a friggin toad..

That is a beast for sure, he looks like he may have already killed and eaten some of your other deer!! :emoji_fearful:

No shame in shooting that one! His antlers are nothing to complain about either! Hes gotta be in his prime years. What a giant... Good luck!

I'd shoo t him in a second, what an absolute beast!!!

Mmmm hmmmm...lotta hamburger right there.
