I been making these for years, and they work great for me. My walmart has these Lag screw eyes on Clearance for 50 cents each . So maybe yours does too
Parts List
One 1/4 x 3 3/4 screw eye OR 3/8 x 4 1/2 Screw eye OR 5/16 x 4 Screw eye
one 1/4 x 20 x 3 inch eye bolt OR 1/4 x 20 x 2 1/2 eye bolt
one 3/8 x 1 inch bolt
one 3/8 hex Nut
three 3/8 washers
one 1/4 wing nut
*You can substitute different lenght Screw eyes and eye bolts*
The last picture isn't mine, I don't like the real short Lag screw eye , but it shows the assembly.
