Have friends from Sri Lanka. Huge into their garden but won't buy synthetic fert, so they come out every yr and fill their car up with cow crap. Always a good time (but kind of odd) time. Always draws attention from the fert producers!
Looks good,I still have your blind frames and fish habitat,Theres enough duct on the reels just to load them and not take duct separate.Anyone close enough that want some big square tubing reels I have several

Went ahead and pruned today. Probably not the best time of yr but do it when ya can.
My leaders bend over to the north real bad. Get almost horizontal. I've gotten pretty nonchalant about cutting stuff off trees.
Decided to give tillage a try. These plots have been TnM since genesis. I'm gonna try tillage for about half of the acreage. This disc hadn't moved from the weeds for 30yrs. Almost made it a whole pass before blowing a hydraulic line! :)
The soil looks real good...
It's official... a decades worth of TnM down the tubes. Of course I didn't disc up all my plots, just some stuff in the yard to experiment with. Plus a couple of pics just cause I love this state!
I'm assuming all sorts of crazy stuff is going to crawl out of that seed bank. Probably going to cost me a fortune to fight it! But... as much as I've loved TnM for the last 30 yrs there is something special about fresh soil that I've never lost a love for. It smells good, feels good, and looks good.
It sinks right in folded up like that. It hadn't been used for at least 30yrs, requires 2 hydraulic hookups (tractor only has 1), and the outside tires need replaced. Figured I'd just see if I could make it work before going all in. It does leave a tough on the outside but that's ok.
