I have several Browning cams that the lens thats dark colored cracks and falls out.Has anyone found a repair?

If you mean the fresnel lens over the sensor I bought one from snapshotsniper.com. I contacted Browning and they were of no help. The lens I bought was a cloudy white and not dark colored but it still worked. I'd start watching for Gardepro E5 on sale and just replace the Brownings.

Did you just buy the material and cut to fit?

No I contacted him and IIRC it was cut to the proper size and shape. I think the circles of the lens has to be positioned properly too. I may have had to trim it a bit. I think the cost with shipping was about $7.50 and that was about 3 years ago.

I should have looked I guess but they sell them on Brownings website for around 8.00

Dragging this old thread up just so people are aware. Had a PIR lens go bad on one of my old Browning cameras. Checked their websight for repair parts, hold onto your underwear fellas. $8.99 for the lens and an absurd amount of $9.99 to ship. WTF the thing is smaller than the stamp for the envelope and it's made of plastic not unobtanium or any part of a unicorn. Guess this Browning will be replace with another Gardepro.

I did that with the piece of film that covers the motion sensor on a browning once. A woodpecker had destroyed it. Something g like $1.99 for the part and like you said, $9.99 for shipping. I cut a piece out of an old milk jug. Kind of worked until the camera died anyway. Absurd…
