Bucks in bachelor groups

When do the bucks start hanging out in bachelor groups? I changed camera cards and I have a video from March 30 with four deer in a group and they all look like they have antler nubs starting. Is that possible?

I wouldn’t be surprised at all. My middle aged bucks all started hanging out again in January even before they shed. The old boys still roll solo, but that’s all year…

My bucks been together for awhile. Here, the biggest buck in the woods will join a bachelor group.

Just got a pic at feeder of 5 boys hanging together. Mine stay together through rut then split for about 6 weeks.
