Blonde-ish color phase on a deer?

Not sure if it's common to have some blonde on a deer or not. This one is unique to me. Hope it's a button buck that grows huge. Would make a neat wall hanger.

That is interesting. There are blonde variations of other critters so I would assume that is a possibility with a deer.

I've seen plenty about blonde bears but not sure I've heard of a deer. Piebalds seem to get a lot of attention. Never seen one other than in a pic. Figured if a group was in the know it would be this one.

I'm thinking you guys are right about shedding the winter coat. I saw a deer yesterday that was just plain ugly with it's front half looking like it had mange. You could plainly see where it had shed it's hair and where it hadn't yet.
