Basagran + Cleth?

Didnt know there was such a thing as “too warm to hunt”😎
I like it low 70's at the most. We have been a little above that here in Central IL.

No - just one time
Mine looked the same as yours until I hit it again. 10-14 days apart from your first spray and you should see a big difference.

I will have to do that again next year - unfortunately, I am out of time this year

Basagran needs a follow up 10-14 days after first spray to take out nutsedge.

Life just got in the way and didnt have time. If I have time to plant this year, just gonna go with it and try earlier next year

Just doesn’t feel right unless I’m freezing my ass off, lol!

Weather is starting to turn up here. Haven’t even shot my bow. I’m always behind.

Buddies son shot a 150” 13 not too far from here and there has been a nice buck with a drop tine photographed a couple miles from here. I gotta get moving.

Only hit mine once too. See what it does next summer.

I dont feel like I will ever win the war. There a million acre of it up there......... IF I win the battle in 2026, Im happy....... My plots is like 50-70% without spraying anything a year or two. IF it's dry before I plant, I spray, if it not..... roll the dice.

It appears over half the sedge has died with just one spraying. The longer it goes, the more of it is dead

I had a bad bad case of nutsedge. I hit the field with gly, then 2 weeks later hit with sedgehammer & 2,4d (I was killing a lot more than just sedge). When walking the field I didn’t see a single blade of sedge left. Not sure if it was the sedgehammer itself or the combo with gly prior, but nonetheless the field is clean.

I have another field to address next summer & will do the same and hope I get the same results.

I thought mine was dead too. About 90% of the plant was burned pretty good but it was still a little green near the base. I thought about just doing one app but I was advised to hit it again or it would bounce back next year. It was barely hanging on until I hit it again. Now it's completely wiped out, at least for now.

Obviously I won't know for sure until next year.

My intentions are to hit it twice next year. I just ran out of time. Just finished planting 25 acres in the last two days in hopes of catching the first rain in over three weeks.

I completely understand. I had made my mind up to spray twice but after the hit the sedge took after the first spray I almost passed on the follow up spray. I'm sure glad I didn't now.

I've been dealing with sedge for over 20 years in my plots. I finally decided to get serious and be done with it. I really, really hope Basagran does the job.
