Atrazine info

I know you need an applicators license to apply it and most people use it on corn as a pre and post emergent I believe. I’m assuming it doesn’t harm corn. I’ve read it controls many weeds that are resistant to Gly. Guys that can and have used this, do you ever use it as a burn down prior to brassicas? Or going into a summer plot? Is there a residual ? I’m just trying to learn about it, as it seems like a common herbicide. When do you guys use Atrazine over Gly for a burn down? Going into corn? Thx

Yes atrazine has good residual activity primarily on broadleaf weeds. It would be a real bad idea to use it as a burn down prior to planting brassicas. The residual activity would hurt the brassicas.
