Arrowhead and other historic/pre-historic collections

If you have neighbors that have creeks or drainage ditches with gravel beds, ask permission if you can check the beds. I think most people are really open to that, even if they normally don't let anybody on even to recover an animal.

We have a couple of neighbors that have said yes every time we've asked, even though they normally are very hesitant to disrupt or intrude on their own properties.

Only guy I’ve ever had to run off my property was arrowhead hunting and it was an honest mistake. I bought the farm a week prior and the old owner didn’t inform him.

With that said I have 2.5 miles of a major named creek and several small seasonal tributaries that run into it. The fact I cannot find a single arrowhead is staggering incompetence on my part. It’s maddening

I only gave it 30 minutes, but 0. This is a standing invitation for anyone on here to come show me what to look for. Plenty of creek to look at. 😂
Lol
And then send them my way. We can leprechaun hunt after we get bored from finding so many arrowheads

Well, I did say open invitation! But if I were gonna go somewhere during the rut, I’d go to a big buck state like Illinois or Kentucky. Certainly not Kansas…

Not interested in your deer T-Max, if you get a chance though, post a few pics of your creek. Riffles, gravel bars, sandbars, anything of that nature, maybe we can narrow down places for you to look.
