I get that trade publication as well as a couple of others. Some useful information, but lots of it is geared towards the as you say the commercial growers in the Northwest.

The current issue has an article mentioning all the great apples that are heirlooms old varieties that date back some 100 years or more , Great apples don't have to be the new patented next big thing to be great , certainly that fits this groups interest
