Apple or Android

android for me. never wanted to be tethered to apples proprietary charges.

iPhone, it's what we started with years ago and have just stuck with them over the years. I prolly get around ten years out of a phone...my wife upgrades to often.
One thing I have noticed here is that my not up to date iPhone gets good reception in a few places inside our multi-level concrete and sheet metal buildings at work that newer iPhone and android won't.

I wonder if I was using the wrong term- maybe instead of “data security” I should have asked if one was harder for bad guys to use malware or whatever to get in there and cause you problems?

This is even argued over in the tech world.

It's Apple, responsible for one OS and versions vs a multitude of other companies using one OS of different versions. Arguments for either approach can be made. And, there have been exploits of both.

I keep my devices and apps updated, and I also run real time device protection (Microsoft Defender) on Windows, Android and Apple devices.

I do the same and always wonder if thats enough- but if a pro is doing it that way too that makes me feel better.
