Apple or Android

My wife dropped her phone today and we are looking to get it replaced. We've always had android, she's think its time for an apple. What do you have and why? Pro's or Con's of each.

Android from the start, ordered a new one last night. Will never go to apple. Too old and set in my ways to learn a new operating system. Plus I just don't like apple. Wife and son have apple products and like them.

I had a loaner Iphone when my Samsung was being repaired. I hated it. The only thing that was good about it was the camera. Not sure how cameras compare these days, but it's not important enough for me to switch.

Almost everyone I know who has an Iphone does it as a status thing rather than actual function of the phone.

Never had an iPhone. Used to always buy Samsungs but I use Google Chrome, Gmail, and Google sheets, so switched to the Google Pixel. Now on my second version of it and it's great. And lots cheaper then the others.

I’ve always had an iPhone. I’m usually several models behind new. I like it a lot. My wife has a pixel and I’m all thumbs on it. She says the same about my iPhone.

I have no idea which one is better but I never follow the crowd, so I have android.

I manage iPhone and Android devices as part of my job. If she's used to Android, I'd stick to that. Most of my users have iPhones, but it's just what they think they like. I could use either, but prefer Androids. I am seeing some of my users making the switch to Androids.

Besides not liking Apple's monopoly tactics and battery draining updates to force people to buy new phones, their cameras are horrid compared to mine. But to be fair, I pick my phones based on screen visibility in daylight and camera quality. Even the wife (always iphone) asks for my phone for pics.

Always been Android myself, but have an iPhone at work, hate it. My wife has seemingly a half dozen Apple products. I own a significant amount of Apple stock. Buy Apple 😂

I've had iphones for many years but about 6 months ago I got a Samsung Galaxy S25 ultra. After using both I cant say either is better or worse. They both have things I like and things I dislike. Whenever I decide to upgrade again I'll likely stick to android but I wouldn't say that with 100% certainty.
