Aphid infestation?

looks like aphids are making a home on my fruit trees. What should I spray? These trees are young and not yet bearing fruit.

How long of time frame is needed between spraying and rain?

I don't really observe aphids after spraying them but japanese beetles are usually toast within a few minutes of spraying them with Sevin. I would re-apply Sevin after a rain.

The aphids are horrible for me this year too. Have limited the growth of several of my trees for sure!

Another vote for sevin, I've been lucky this year with hardly any aphids but the jap beetles had a couple orgies on my cherry trees and a good dusting moved them right on.

Before the rain hit I ran into town to Ace. They were all out of Sevin concentrate so I had to get the Bonide fruit tree spray. I thought it would be better than nothing as I won't be back up for a week or two. I hit the trees 6 hrs before the rain started. When I get back up I'll hit them again with Sevin.
