I have a strong stand of volunteer Persian Clover in one of my food plots. From what I read, it is high in palatability and protein. Deer seem to utilize it well. Does anyone grow it.

Your bees should be all over that!

If it's something that I didn't have to seed every year in Minnesota I would be interested.

Think the green cover milpa spread has some in it. I use the milpa as a food plot sweetener. a light spreading of it in the middle of the plot. I have seen it come up in my plots. Don't really see it the next year. Zone 3 sandy soil ph in the low 5';s.

I read it is more of a southern use clover.

Planted some this past fall. Will check and see how it looks next time at the farm.
