I think antler development, especially this time of the year, is as much a factor of buck genetics as it is the habitat on your property. Bucks are probably in your area, but summer ranges are definitely a thing, and they may be on your neighbors property because it has a lower stem count and better summer forage.
This is the second full-year I have run networked cameras on our property. There is some overlap between how bucks use the property in the summer and fall, but I am not at all worried about which bucks are still around. I just think it's fun to watch buck's antlers grow and try and ID them early on.
