Played golf today at Bunker Hills golf-Anoka county course today, hundreds of bur oaks, not one acorn or cap on the ground. Lots of red oak acorns.

If you open the canopy up a bunch, you may be surprised at how many whites start popping up. That's what happened on my folks' old place anyway.

My place was logged heavily 10-15 years ago, lots of sun getting to the ground still. Maybe I'll find some small whites mixed in there if I look hard one of these days.

I just checked the white oak that I put a bow stand in and it is dropping acorns big time, tons laying all over the ground. Put a cam there in vid mode to catch the action.
