I am tired of letting the two parties dictate how we should feel about every little thing and somehow if you don’t agree with it your a bad person.
I hear you and respect that you can stay calm enough to articulate your thoughts. Many of which are not wrong but have been hijacked. From my stance, I see the left taking the "you're a bad person approach" much more often then any other. When Milo, a Jewish immigrant who just happens to be gay and recently (last week) married a black man gets shouted down from speaking at Berkley and called a racist homophobe by a bunch of little white social justice warriors, things are going to be wrong in this country for quite so time.
I don't think Obummer created the mess we're in. He may have emboldened it, but he didn't create it. This comes from the academic world. High schools on both coasts and colleges everywhere have been pushing an anti white, anti traditional culture, anti American agenda for a generation and it's finally come home to roost.
When my son was in 10th grade he came home and told me we figured out how to get an A in history, We just have to say we're white males and we suck, my eyes were opened a bit more.
Like him or not. Trump is the byproduct of a generation that's finally grown tired of being told they suck. My Grandfather immigrated to this country as a child (legally) long after slavery, yet my light skin pigment makes me the reason for all the country's ills in the eyes of children with a dark skin pigment and litttle white social justice warriors who drank the cool aid. Why? Because they are told so daily in our institutions of learning.
Is there racism today? I'm sure there is. The problem is the blame has been placed squarely on the back of millions of common working men and women in this country that couldn't influence it one way or the other. These people "me included" are tired of being told by Hollywood, the network news, and the Democrat party "leaders" that they suck.
The left created Trump and in trying to remove him they are doubling down on the antics that brought him to power. I don't know where it goes from here but each time the pendulum swings it swings harder. As for a healed country, I don't think I'll live long enough to see it. I do have hope for our children though. My son gives me this hope. His best freind is black and they joke about the situation. They have become numb to the hard right and hard left. My hope is that these two young men represent the next generation that will be numbed to the divisiveness that's ruling the day. I just hope these two are becoming the norm. Not so sure about that.
As for me, obviously using terms like "little white social justice warriors" shows I'm not numb to it. I'm still feeling the sting of being wrongfully blamed daily. And they keep doubling down.
I doubt the kneeler's even really know what their kneeling about. It's just in vogue in the bubble they live in. It's just doubling down on attacking what millions of Americans with no power believe in.
Like I said "not in my lifetime" but maybe the next.
