Looks nice, plenty heavy. What's your N plan? I'm in my 3rd year of growing them and haven't added N yet, and it doesn't appear I'll need to this year.

10lbs/ acre, I went a little heavy due to our deer start hitting tops early September. The mix is from a local seed company called Merit Seed. It's their Deer Max mix.

That looks great! I hope mine looks 1/2 that good. Planted 8/7, but won't get down there to check it out until labor day weekend.

I ordered some buckwheat through Merit this spring. Good, prompt service. Just wish I could get what they offer without having to pay shipping...
