But you still draw lots of bears in your food plots without corn or beans [emoji6]. What is it? 8 now? I believe any green food source in the fall is going to draw critters wanted and unwanted. Chris is just gonna have to get used to bears with or without oaks.

Trade the wheeler in on one that works. Seems silly to get rid of something you've drooled about for years just because your wheeler doesn't fit it.

Probably have to wait until it's harvested in July or August to get seed. That's when it's usually available in mn.

Bergers. Flat shooting, very accurate and they drop deer right where they stand. Next in line would be partitions. Both solid bullets.

I think over a lifetime reloading pays for itself and way more. Not just in cost savings but more so in confidence in the guns you load for. It's a satisfying hobby to get into.

Couldn't you of backed yourself out with the bucket? That's what I do when I get my tractor stuck in mud.

I love maples. My woods get covered in maple seedlings every spring and the deer mow them off by fall. They're a great early spring food when there's really not much else around.

I've got some heavier, wet soils in places and anywhere I open up the canopy or let the ground go I get wild raspberries growing. Doesn't take much for them to go by themselves. I did see a little browsing from deer as well during the winter time.
