I'm actually not sure which species of cedar I have. I'll do some more research. I was hoping to plant freedom, liberty and enterprise like I did on my hunting ground. I like the idea of dolgo and chestnut crab as well. I had -35 for several days last winter.

It took awhile to get the camera setup and get a decent pic of the over winter results. It seems to have held up just fine over our Wisconsin winter. It is still holding water just fine. I have quite a few critters that are visiting often. Here is a recent pic of a spring time buck.

I was just going to post this same thing. I pulled SD cards today on my small clover plot. It is only about 1/8 the acre in size and they are visiting it almost every day now. Even in heavy ag this is some of the first green ground we have.

We would be neighbors. As the crow flies, my place is probably 2 miles from this one. Wildcat Mt state park has miles of horse trails and don't forget canoeing the Kickapoo. I would recommend it. I love it here!

Im not sure how it will hold up over winter. In another month or two I'll post the results. I have a bunch of old rubber roofing that I plan to use as a backup plan if this thing breaks.
